The Team

François is a graduate engineer from the French “Ecole Centrale de Lyon”. He created Gootenberg in 2008 as the first process-based Public Relations business, with the creative touch that’s key to emerge on highly competitive markets. This approach is based on a solid consulting experience acquired with major international PR networks (Omnicom / TBWA, Huntsworth / Grayling, Chime / Harvard Public Relations). Francois advised many challengers on their media visibility but he also helped to support the reputation of some large brands under attack from organised communities.

An expert in the IT sector, he has survived the dotcom bubble and extended his know-how to the industry and consumer sectors – and to social networks. He’s regularly blogging on the new relationship brands need to maintain with their stakeholders with a simple belief: Communication has entered in the era of the dialogue, without any borders between legacy media and new media. His motto, “music is the daughter of solfeggio and inspiration”, illustrates both his taste for the Rolling Stones and for dialectics.

Laurence holds a degree from CELSA, Paris IV Sorbonne. From the 80s to the 2000s, Laurence acquired a strong expertise of communication in the IT sector, as Account Manager in PR agency, and Director of communication with large computer manufacturers. Laurence could then develop an experience that allows her to understand the constraints and expectations of companies and provide them with relevant advice. Tired of the upheavals of the NASDAQ, Laurence decided in 2007 to create her own consulting business, where she worked for some B to B companies, but also for consumer brands in the fashion, childcare and ecommerce sectors.

Having joined Gootenberg, she’s helping the agency’s clients to improve their media and online visibility through a structured approach. Between press releases and blog posts, she loves to read classical books – and listen to Lenny Kravitz.
